A few months ago I had a few days riding a titanium gravel bike from a bike maker with a superb, long established reputation.
I'd have bought one too, if only they'd had my size. They couldn't get one before September, so I looked elsewhere.
I ended up buying a Sonder Camino Ti from AlpKit, a company better known for making outdoor equipment rather than bikes.
So which is best? Why? Am I happy with my choice of cheaper bike? And what are the implications for some of the established titanium bike building brands?
OK, so I don't exactly cover all that in this video, but you get a good idea. Spoiler alert - I prefer the Sonder.
