Not Our DVD, But Video Anyway

Flicking through sea kayak videos on YouTube I came across this one posted in April by David A. His description is as follows:

This was the final day of our 3 day sea kayaking course (5th April 2013). We had been working on breaking in and out of tidal flow at Kyle Rhea on the Isle of Skye, and our instructor, Gordon Brown of Skyak Adventures, decided it was time to "Show Off." His words, not mine.

I have been on several sea kayaking courses at Plas y Brenin in Wales, but I can honestly say that I learnt more in the 3 days with Gordon Brown than my entire time in Wales.

Completely off topic, but you have mentioned Fort William cafes in the past, but don't think you have mentioned any names. Where would you recommend for a nice coffee in Fort William? I have always been disappointed in the past. Can't wait to see the DVD.

Thanks again

Until recently I'd have hesitated to recommend a cafe in Fort William. Fired Art was good, but I'm less impressed now.

However, there is a good one at the south end of the high street. Go up beside the new Travelodge and you'll find The Hub in a converted church.

Hope that's useful!
