This was the final day of our 3 day sea kayaking course (5th April 2013). We had been working on breaking in and out of tidal flow at Kyle Rhea on the Isle of Skye, and our instructor, Gordon Brown of Skyak Adventures, decided it was time to "Show Off." His words, not mine.
I have been on several sea kayaking courses at Plas y Brenin in Wales, but I can honestly say that I learnt more in the 3 days with Gordon Brown than my entire time in Wales.
